Hiring a Friend: Help or Hurt You

When it comes to being small business owners and entrepreneurs we all know that the one way to grow is by outsourcing or delegating responsibilities to employees.  However, cash-strapped these “employees” sometimes turn out to be friends who offer to do it on the cheap or volunteer.

While  it’s wonderful to have an extra  pair of hands around the office, could this friend really be helping or hurting you.  Stocking shelves, taping boxes to go out and ordering lunch for everyone is one thing….handling serious aspects of your business is quite another.
